Merganser (Mergus merganser)

The merganser is a large waterfowl, somewhat like the silky merganser. The body structure is black and white, resembling a merganser, with an elongated head and long neck. The voice is a good, rough croak.

The oldest Finnish ring merganser was over 12 years old.
